holly carburetor 390cfm #8007?

i replaced the gasket for this side thought that was the prob but the pump where u see the red spring in the pic underneath all it is is a metal button and when i pump that like 3 times gas ours out. its never dont that befor but i had to clean the inside from bad gas. its seems that maybe it over flows in there and has no where to go or something i dont know what can or should i do i cant afford a repair kit.

Under the spring is the accelerator pump diaphragm actuacting lever. I would say you have broken the pump diaphragm which would then leak whenever you try to pump fuel out the accelerator nozzles. You can buy those diaphragms separately and they require removal of the four screws on the bottom of the front float bowl to replace. Pretty easy with the carb off the car.
